December 2017 – Artwork update

It’s been a few weeks since I posted on my blog, here’s some updated on my work so far.

It’s been a very busy month with a few commissions, one of The Bristol Children’s hospital which was an A4 illustration on board and framed, see below for a pic of the finished framed piece.

Have been working on new paintings of Bristol scenes which are now exhibited in The Ropewalk Pub in a Bedminster where work is selling really well recently. Here are a few of the recent paintings. I’ve been experimenting with new abstract style backgrounds and really enjoying doing these.

I am also busy betting my website up to date and more artworks and prints are being added to my website in the next few days. I’ve recently been involved in illustrating some poems for a new book, which features around 50 poems illustrated by different artists, my illustrations were for poems called “Cash for dreams” and “The Guffaloo”

The illustrations are below and the book, Fiendish Kebabs by Matt Horrors can be purchased from the following link Matt Horrors

I’ve also been getting out and about around Bristol taking photos for inspiration on new paintings, so have lots of ideas for new work over the next few months.

My next main exhibition will be at The Grain Barge in Hotwells, Bristol, from March until May (exact dates to be confirmed) but I also have work on sale at Its all 2 much Gallery, in Stokes Croft, Steak of the Art in Millenium Square, Bristol, The Ropewalk Pub in Bedminster as well as prints and postcards on sale at Upfest Gallery and 7th Sea Art.

Will post more updates when I get the chance.

Happy New Year 2017

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted on here mainly due to a busy Christmas and New Year. Here is an update of my art work so far this year. I’ve got myself an iPad Pro and ipencil and I’ve been doing a few digital pieces of art which are below. I’m starting to get the hang of this and might release some of these as prints in the near future, but at the moment it’s a good way to work on ideas during the dark nights from the comfort of my sofa!

I have an exhibition starting at Zion Gallery in Bedminster Down during  February featuring my Bristol at work this will last for one month. I will post pictures of this once is been set up. Also a small exhibition at the Blakehay Theatre in Weston-Super-Mare during February.

I’m also working on a project for a hotel in Bristol which I can’t really say much about at the moment but it involves painting and illustrating my artwork onto antique style table. I’ll post pics of my progress once I start this in the next few weeks.
